Responsible for the design, front end development and implementation of Dennis Publishing’s online publishing platform and infrastructure, project management, and daily operation of DPL’s portfolio of websites. Establishing and implementing design and front end development workflow guidelines for all areas of the business, and ensure the design team work in line with these guidelines whilst keeping abreast of and assesing emerging trends and technologies.
Representing the creative side of the business to external agencies and internal departments including Sales, Marketing and editorial. Working alongside developers, product owners and stakeholders, ensuring that all digital properties across the business are optimised in order that the maximum possible revenue opportunity is achieved, whilst maintaining high usability and functionality standards throughout.
Managing external relationships with agencies and clients etc. Managing campaigns from concepts onwards including, games, standard advertising, microsites, viral marketing & interface design across all brands from B2B and technology to consumer titles.
Managing a design team of 10 fulltime and extra contract designers/front-end developers. Responsible for recruiting of designers of all experience levels both freelance and permanent and mentoring junior designers and providing them with necessary training when required.
